SEO AnalyzerX is committed to protecting user privacy and maintaining transparency
about how data is handled within the extension.
Overview
SEO AnalyzerX is a Chrome extension designed to analyze on-page SEO elements
of the website currently selected by the user. The extension operates strictly
under user control and follows Chrome Web Store privacy and security guidelines.
Information Collection
SEO AnalyzerX does not collect, store, or transmit any personal
data or personally identifiable information. The extension does not collect:
Names, email addresses, or contact details
Browsing history or website usage patterns
Login credentials or sensitive personal information
How the Extension Works
When a user initiates an analysis, the extension temporarily accesses the content
of the active browser tab to extract publicly visible SEO-related elements such as:
Page title and meta description
Heading structure (H1–H6)
Text content and visible links
All analysis is performed locally within the user's browser session.
No webpage data is transmitted to external servers.
Data Storage
The extension may store non-personal preferences and temporary SEO analysis data
locally using Chrome’s storage API to improve user experience.
This data remains on the user’s device and can be cleared at any time.
Third-Party Sharing
SEO AnalyzerX does not share data with third parties, advertisers,
analytics platforms, or external services.
User Control
Users are always in control of when the extension runs.
The extension does not execute automatically, does not run in the background,
and only analyzes websites when explicitly requested by the user.
Changes to This Policy
This privacy policy may be updated from time to time.
Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
Permission Usage
SEO AnalyzerX requests only the permissions required to provide its core SEO analysis features.
contextMenus: FullPageX Screenshot uses the contextMenus permission to provide right-click screenshot options, such as capturing the visible area, full page, or selected region. This permission is used only when the user manually selects a screenshot action and does not collect, store, or share personal data.
notifications: FullPageX Screenshot uses the notifications permission to show local browser alerts when a screenshot is captured, saved, exported, or when an action fails. Notifications are generated locally in the browser and do not collect, transmit, or share any user data.
tabs: FullPageX Screenshot uses the tabs permission to identify the active tab and capture the webpage selected by the user. This permission is required for screenshot functionality and is not used to track browsing history or collect personal data.
scripting: FullPageX Screenshot uses the scripting permission to inject capture and selection scripts into the active webpage only when the user starts a screenshot action. This is required for region capture, full-page capture, annotation preparation, and page interaction. No personal data is collected or transmitted.
activeTab: FullPageX Screenshot uses the activeTab permission to access the current webpage only after the user clicks the extension or starts a screenshot action. Access is temporary and limited to the active tab selected by the user.
storage: FullPageX Screenshot uses the storage permission to save user preferences, screenshot settings, theme mode, and local screenshot history. This data remains on the user’s device and is not shared with external servers.
These permissions are used only for user-requested SEO analysis features. SEO AnalyzerX does not use these permissions to collect, store, sell, or share personal data.
